On July 3rd 2024, Coventry and Warwickshire Champions held their latest breakfast meeting at the home of Coventry Rugby, the Butts Park Arena.
The welcome to participants was delivered by Jon Sharp, Executive Chairman, Coventry Rugby Club and John Edwards, Chair, Coventry Rugby Foundation.

Coventry Netball
We will be providing a programme of netball that looks to increase participation and nurture talent within the Coventry Schools and the wider community. We will be aiming to improve the current provision of coaching and competition whilst also providing clear exit routes into clubs, county, and performance netball.

Coventry Stampede is Coventry Rugby’s official wheelchair rugby team. Many just come and take part for fun but the Stampede also competes in League fixtures, with the GBWR 5s Championship season underway now!

Our Walking Rugby sessions are perfect for those over 50 and looking to get more active. As the name suggests, running is forbidden as is passing the ball higher than shoulder height. There are also no high tackles – or indeed any tackles – and, crucially, no scrums, rucks or mauls, making it perfect for all abilities!
