XL Motors extend and enhance partnership with Coventry Rugby

Coventry Rugby is delighted to announce that XL Motors have extended and enhanced their partnership with the Club, nearing a decade as Main Stand sponsor.

Coventry Rugby is delighted to announce that XL Motors have extended and enhanced their partnership with the Club, nearing a decade as Main Stand sponsor.

Alongside that long-standing role as Main Stand sponsor, XL Motors' involvement with the Club now spans player sponsorship of Dafydd-Rhys Tiueti, external and pitch-side signage around the stadium, and tables in the Marquee for hospitality on matchdays. The renewed deal also sees XL Motors returning to the match shirt for 2026/27, while the company continues its membership of the Business Club.

Rob and the team at XL Motors have long been fantastic supporters of Coventry Rugby, becoming an ever-present part of matchdays over the years through significant stadium branding and a strong presence in hospitality in the Platinum Marquee. This enhanced partnership builds on that foundation, bringing XL Motors even closer to the heart of the Club.

Rob Alley, Managing Director at XL Motors, said:

"I'm a Cov kid at heart - I was born in Coventry, so anything to do with Coventry is a big thing for us. To be able to be part of a football club, a rugby club, grassroots, whatever it may be, we just try to support the best we can. So it's a very proud moment to see our badges on these kits."

Matt Cannon, Chief Operating Officer at Coventry Rugby, said:

"We're absolutely delighted that Rob and the team at XL Motors have extended and enhanced their partnership with Coventry Rugby. To have XL Motors as partners of our Main Stand, while also taking pride of place at the top of our shirt, is a huge moment for the club. They have been fantastic supporters of Coventry Rugby for nearly a decade, and we're incredibly grateful for their continued support.

The XL Motors team have become ever-present on match days, with significant stadium branding and a strong presence in hospitality in the Platinum Marquee. To now have them associated with two of our biggest assets is hugely pleasing.

We're delighted to see this relationship continue and grow, and look forward to many more successful years together."
