Strong will remain in blue and white at the Nick Newbold Stadium after an outstanding first season, in which he has established himself as one of the standout performers both for Coventry and across Champ Rugby.

The powerful forward has made 23 appearances so far this season, scoring an impressive 12 tries, while also leading the league for carries - underlining his influence and importance to the side. His ability to consistently get the team over the gain line, combined with his rugby intelligence, has made him a cornerstone of Coventry’s forward pack.

Speaking after committing his future to the club, Strong reflected on his first year and the potential within the squad.

“Really glad to have re-signed for another season at Cov. Loved my first year here and the potential of the group is really exciting going into next year. Looking forward to a big end to this season now with lots to play for.”

Head Coach Alex Rae was full of praise for Strong’s impact, highlighting both his performances and leadership qualities.
