The 23-year-old arrives at the Nick Newbold Stadium after establishing himself as one of the Champ's most promising young forwards during his time with Doncaster Knights, where he amassed 70 appearances.

Standing at 185cm and weighing 103kg, Tait brings a blend of physicality, dynamism and leadership experience to Coventry's pack. His rugby journey has seen him progress through Hawick RFC and Sedbergh School before representing Scotland at Under-16 and Under-18 level. He later captained Scotland Under-20s and spent time within the Glasgow Warriors setup before making his mark in the Champ.

A powerful and skilful back-rower, Tait has developed a reputation for his toughness, work rate and ability to influence games on both sides of the ball, qualities that made him a standout target for Coventry's recruitment team.
