Coventry Rugby are delighted to confirm that Tommy Mathews has re-signed with the club for the 2026/27 season.
The fly-half will continue in blue and white after another impressive campaign at the Nick Newbold Stadium, further cementing his status as one of the Champ Rugby's most influential playmakers.
Since arriving at Coventry, Mathews has made 49 appearances and accumulated an outstanding 347 points. His tally includes 137 conversions, 16 penalties and five tries, underlining his importance as both a goal-kicker and attacking orchestrator.
A key figure in Coventry's attacking game, Mathews has continued to develop year-on-year, combining intelligent game management with a consistently strong kicking game. His understanding of the team's attacking philosophy has made him a crucial part of the squad's progress, while his professionalism and positive attitude have earned him the respect of teammates and coaches alike.
Head Coach Alex Rae is delighted to see Mathews extend his stay with the club.
