Coventry Rugby are delighted to confirm that Dan Green has re-signed with the club for the 2026/27 season.
Having joined the Blue and Whites ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, Green is set to enter his third season at the Nick Newbold Stadium after continuing his impressive development within the squad.
The talented forward has made 38 appearances for Coventry to date, scoring five tries, and has established himself as a dependable member of the pack. Still only in the early stages of his career, Green has consistently shown his potential, combining physicality with a strong work ethic and a willingness to improve.
Head Coach Alex Rae believes there is still plenty more to come from the young forward.
"It's easy to forget how young Dan still is. He's done really well since he joined us and we think there's so much more to come from him. He comes in with a brilliant attitude on a daily basis and pushes himself, which is exactly what we want to see. If he continues to do that, he'll go from strength to strength."
Green is excited to continue his journey in Coventry colours.
"I'm really pleased to be staying at Coventry for another season. I've loved my time at the club so far and feel like I've developed massively since arriving. The environment the coaches have created and the group we've got here make it a great place to be, and I'm looking forward to continuing to improve and seeing what we can achieve together next season."
Green's re-signing is another important piece of Coventry Rugby's plans for the 2026/27 campaign, as the club continues to retain a talented core of players with the potential to drive the team forward in the seasons ahead.
