Coventry Rugby Academy is delighted to announce the return of its flagship Elite Camp, taking place from 18th–21st August 2026 at the outstanding facilities of Princethorpe College.

Designed for ambitious young rugby players who will be entering Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 in September 2026, the Elite Camp represents the highest level of provision within the Coventry Rugby Academy pathway and is the ideal opportunity for aspiring players to gain a competitive edge ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Running from 08:30–16:00 each day, the four-day experience has been carefully designed to immerse players in a professional rugby environment, exposing them to the standards, habits and expectations that underpin success within the modern game.
More than just a rugby camp, the Coventry Rugby Academy Elite Camp provides players with a genuine insight into life within a high-performance programme. Delivered exclusively by Coventry Rugby Academy staff, participants will experience the same holistic approach to development that sits at the heart of the Academy pathway, combining technical, tactical, physical and personal development throughout the week.

A major highlight of the week will be the opportunity to learn from and engage with Coventry Rugby's senior players and coaching staff. Through specialist position-specific workshops, Q&A opportunities and player interactions, attendees will gain valuable insight into the standards, mindset and professionalism required to progress within the game.
Hosted at the stunning Princethorpe College, one of the Midlands' premier sporting venues, the Elite Camp combines exceptional facilities, expert coaching and an inspiring environment to create one of the region's leading rugby development experiences.
As an added benefit, every player attending the Elite Camp will receive two complimentary tickets to Coventry Rugby's U23 fixture on Saturday 22nd August, providing an excellent opportunity to watch the next generation of Coventry Rugby talent in action against Ampthill Rugby and Cambridge Rugby.
Following the tremendous success of last year's event, demand is expected to be higher than ever. More than 120 players attended the 2025 Elite Camp, making it one of the largest and most successful academy rugby camps in the region.
To ensure every participant receives meaningful coaching contact, individual feedback and the highest quality experience possible, Coventry Rugby Academy has taken the decision to limit the 2026 camp to just 125 places.
Academy Manager Matthew Jones believes the camp provides the perfect platform for young players looking to maximise their potential and start the season strongly.
