Rhys Re-signs!

Former Wales U18 and U20 Rhys Thomas has put pen to paper after a successful first season with the club, and committed himself to Coventry Rugby for the 2022/23 campaign.

Unfortunately, injury kept the forward - who can play both second and back row - out of much of last season. However, with his rehab complete – Rhys played a crucial role in the Club’s highly successful cup run. 

"I'm really happy and proud to be re-signing again at Coventry. I had a rough year with injury but the support I received was amazing and really looking forward to pushing forward next year and building on what we have built this year. Should be a really exciting year and I’m excited I get to be a part of what’s ahead. Love being part of the Coventry family and the fans make it a special place." - Rhys Thomas.

As an extremely well-liked member of the playing squad, everyone at Coventry Rugby is excited to see Rhys staying in Blue and White next season, and to witness his further development.
