Speaking after the match, skipper Phil Boulton said:

"I can't fault the effort of the lads tonight. I said to them that coming to Nottingham on a Friday night isn't the type of occasion that happens often so we've got to enjoy it and there were times that we did, although obviously we're not going to enjoy the result."
