Rowland Winter has named the Coventry side to face Ampthill Rugby, in the squad’s first away game of the 2021/22 Championship season this Saturday (KO 3:00pm).
Dual registered Jack Metcalf and Ewan Ashman from Sale Sharks are set to make their Coventry debuts at Dillingham Park. Metcalf is in his first season at Sale and come in at full back, while Ashman is a Scotland Under-20 international hooker.
Expect to see a similar 23 this week, with only a few changes having been been made to last weeks squad that faced Doncaster Knights in the triumphant Round 1 clash.
After having missed out last week, Rob Stevenson is names on the left wing, with dual registered Worcester Warrior, Tom Howe, switching to the right.
