Coventry Rugby Academy opens player nominations for U15 and U16 Player Development Programme (PDP)

Coventry Rugby Academy is pleased to announce the launch of our PDP programme designed to support the region’s aspirational rugby players aged U15 (Yr 10) and U16 (Yr 11).

The academy programme provides ambitious players in Coventry and the surrounding area a viable pathway to professional rugby and is designed to facilitate talented players aged U15 to U18+ becoming the best players they can be.

As part of the PDP, our U15 and U16 Player Development Groups will train out of regionalised hubs and come together for playing and development opportunities during school holidays. In addition to regular sessions from our experienced coaching team, all players in our pathway will receive regular opportunities for feedback, analysis, nutritional advice and strength and conditioning guidance.

Coventry and Warwickshire Hub:

Location: Broadstreet RFC, The Ivory Preece Centre, 105 Rugby Road, Binley Woods, Coventry, CV3 2AY

Timings: Monday, 18:00 – 20:00

Sessions and programming will be designed to support the players' calendars and enable them to continue playing with their clubs and schools. The PDP programme will aim to develop and inspire a new generation of Coventry and Warwickshire players. We hope that supporting the talent in our region will reap huge benefits for our clubs, schools and county programmes long term.
