.....and now Birmingham Moseley

COVENTRY Rugby can announce a second mouth-watering local derby in their programme of pre-season games with a home fixture against Birmingham Moseley.

The long-standing rivals will meet at Butts Park Arena on Saturday, August 11 – two weeks before Cov entertain city neighbours Wasps in the build-up to their return to the Championship.

“What a great way to start the new campaign,” said Cov’s director of rugby, Rowland Winter. “We will go to Moseley next year as part of a two-year agreement which will be great for both sets of supporters.”

Both the Moseley and Wasps games will be included in Coventry’s season ticket package.

Cov’s first pre-season outing will be away at Bishop’s Stortford on Tuesday, August 7. They will also have an away game on August 18 (opponents to be confirmed) and a Friday night home game against Cambridge on August 24 (7.45pm kick-off) before the Wasps fixture the following afternoon (2pm).
