Coventry Rugby have various Chef opportunities available to work on casual/ part-time basis – with the potential to grow to a full time position. Salary dependent on position.

We are looking for a passionate, independent working and highly driven Chef De Parte. The Chef De Partie will cook and manage our Kitchen, preparing food for our players alongside the team nutritionist, and also for our conference and event guests. Hours will vary based on business demands. 

You are encouraged to express your creativity and have the opportunity to develop your skills on a daily basis. Driven by the passion for delivering the best dishes to the customers, you are playing your part as a dynamic member of a motivated team by supporting in the successful running of the Banqueting Kitchen.

Some of the key duties include but are not limited to:

  • Deep knowledge of menus and seasonal products
  • Being familiar with all food items on the menu and new products on the market
  • Ensuring hygiene and sanitation are strictly observed and that equipment and utensils are handled, maintained and used correctly

Ideally, you have your NVQ Level 2 and already gained work experience in the same or similar role, preferably within a prestigious sporting environment. You are passionate about cooking, working as a team and are motivated to change and grow. 

You will need to be flexible as your working week will include a number of weekends and early starts during the course of the year.
