Coventry Rugby will be attending the Coventry University campus and it’s Business School on Saturday in celebration of their 50th Anniversary of teaching business.
The Community Day takes place tomorrow (12th May) between 1-4 pm and will give you the chance to explore the University’s historic campus and enjoy events and activities throughout the day.
Both front-row powerhouse Scott Tolmie, who finished the season as the highest scoring forward in the league with 19 tries in 29 appearances and England Counties player Nile Dacres, who was one of the most consistent and standout performers this season will be in attendance ready with the National League One trophy and will be available for photographs and signings.
With many activities taking place on the day, you will be able to take part in rock climbing, fun-fair rides in the University Square, food festival, live music, face painting, have a selfie with the Cricket World Cup, see the business robots in action and be a financial trader for the day.
The University are offering various FREE activities for children, and there will also be a tour of the Coventry campus and the iconic Coventry Cathedral. All guests will be invited to help create a memory wall in the Alumni Zone, with the aim to celebrate all the things that make Coventry special for you.
** Please note that every activity is free apart from a nominal charge for the rock climbing with all proceeds from this activity being donated to Zoe’s Place, the University’s chosen charity during their 50th Anniversary year. **
