Team news for final pre-season friendly against Gloucester

The Coventry team has been named for the final pre-season friendly against Gloucester at Butts Park Arena on Saturday afternoon (KO 3:00pm).

More combinations are being tried by the club’s coaches as they continue their build-up towards the Championship opener against Doncaster on Saturday, September 18th.

Senitiki Nayalo, Josh Bainbridge and Ryan Burrows start in the back row for the first time, and with Evan Mitchell switching to full back Tony Fenner wears the number 10 shirt. Tom Griffiths and Rob Knox come together in the centres.

This is the first time that Gloucester will have played at Butts Park Arena, with two of England’s most storied and historic clubs coming up against each other for the first time since the mid-1990s. So this is another chance to be a part of a little bit of club history!
