Coventry Rugby has announced its squad for the second of our Gift to the Community games, against the RAF on Wednesday evening.
Following last week’s victory against the UK Armed Forces, Alex Rae has made a few changes and named a youthful and ambitious squad, with a gentle blend of experience.
In the forwards, Harry Stone and James Bennett will be two to watch, having both put in eye-catching performances last Friday. George Smith will once again provide some vital first-team experience in the second row.
Moving to the backs, the theme of blending youth with experience continues. The familiar faces of Will Lane, Fin Ogden, and Tobi Wilson will accompany several current Senior Academy players in the backline, including young Freddie Painter, who was recently named National League One Player of the Week when on loan duty with Birmingham Moseley.
We look forward to welcoming you all to Butts Park tomorrow night, on what is sure to be a fantastic evening of rugby for both players and supporters.
