Director of rugby Rowland Winter told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire’s John Butler:
“We knew today would be tough, Ealing are at the top of the table and they’re a settled side in this league.
“We knew it would be a difficult task but we didn’t make it easy for ourselves by not waking up and being a little bit shell-shocked in that first twenty minutes.
“To go 19-3 down in the first 20 minutes meant that we were chasing the game against a side that were at home, had confidence and were getting a lot of the bounces.
“We set the boys a task at half-time to come away with a league point. They achieved that, battled hard and until that final try at the end it was a 12-all second half.
“That was a much improved performance, but we need to reproduce that and take the ability to go out and score tries against sides at the top of the table and put it over eighty minutes.”
