Coventry Rugby is excited to announce that Jordon Poole has been named as captain for the 2022/23 campaign.
Poole has played for the club 16 times whilst on loan from Premiership side, Exeter Chiefs, but made his stay at the BPA a permanent one this summer. Despite his dual-registered status, Poole’s leadership qualities shone through, as he was chosen to lead the team during much of the Championship Cup run in the absence of Ryan Burrows.
“I’m chuffed! I had a taster of it last season in the Cup run, and I’ve spent a lot of good time with this group now. Ideally, I want to lead from the front, and let my actions speak louder than words.” – Jordon Poole
Everyone at Coventry Rugby would like to wish Jordon the very best of luck as captain, we’re all behind you Pooley!
