It is with great sadness that we learned of the recent death of Graham Creed.
Graham was an outstanding prop forward who played 102 games for Cov between 1968 and 1974. A larger-than-life character, Graham was the life and soul of most of the players’ parties, of which there were a few!!
Despite being in competition with the likes of Jim Broderick, Keith Fairbrother and Fran Cotton, Graham forced his way into the team on a regular basis. He is particularly missed already by his brother Roger, a former club captain and England open side in the Centenary match against the Rest of The World team at Twickenham in 1972.
We wish Roger and Graham’s family well and send them our deepest condolences on this sad occasion.
