Coventry Rugby has announced a new partnership with sports healthcare products specialists, Physique Management, for the next two seasons, with Physique becoming the Official Physiotherapy Product Supplier to the team.
Physique has been supplying to elite sports teams, medical professionals and consumers for over 20 years and their range of more than 3,000 products covers everything from taping and strapping, hot and cold therapy, pitchside first aid, rehab and exercise equipment and more.
In addition to supporting the Coventry Rugby club and its medical team, the partnership will also aim to contribute to the education of players from grass roots up by collaborating on educational content.
Charlie Preston, Partnerships Manager for Physique, said: “We see this new partnership with Coventry Rugby as an opportunity to support their players both on and off the pitch by providing products to them and the medical team that will help aid players in getting back on the field as soon and as safely as possible.
“We’re also excited to collaborate on educational content that would aim to improve the health and safety of players from all levels of rugby.”
Dermot Austin, Coventry Rugby’s Head Physiotherapist, added: “We’re looking forward to partnering with Physique over the next two seasons with the goal of helping our players stay as safe and healthy as possible and supporting our medical and physio teams in this mission.”
