Toby Venner joins Coventry on trial

Coventry Rugby can confirm that Toby Venner has joined the club on a trial basis for the remainder of the 2023/24 season. 

The 26-year-old scrum half boasts a wealth of experience having spent time at Jersey Reds, Bristol Bears, Gloucester and Hartpury University RFC. Known for his quick feet and evasion skills, Venner will join up with Alex Rae’s squad for the rest of the current Championship campaign.

Having battled with injury trouble in recent years, the half back is looking forward to showing the coaching staff at Butts Park what he can do:
