2022/23 Fixtures Announced

The fixture list for the 2022/23 Championship and Championship Cup campaign have been released by the Rugby Football Union, beginning with a local derby at home against familiar foes, Bedford Blues, here at Butts Park Arena on the weekend of the 10th September 2022.

The opening month also holds the challenge of an away trip over to Jersey, not long after our narrow Cup semi-final victory last season, before returning home to face Ampthill on the weekend of the 24th.

Head Coach, Alex Rae is looking forward to the first few games of the new season: “It’s fantastic to be starting at home in front of our own supporters against Bedford – two proper rugby clubs. Then away to Jersey which gives us the chance to spend time together as a squad, and we have very happy memories from the last time we went there. There are no easy games in this league and we’re really excited to get going.”

Alongside the fixture list shown below, there will also be a repeat our of our ‘Gift to the Community’ initiative where we welcome fans to the BPA, free of charge and showcase some of our best local, young rugby talent. There will also be a number of development and academy fixtures played here at the BPA throughout the course of the season – details on these matches will be announced when finalised.

Please note, that all fixtures are subject to change in both date and kick-off time on their given weekend. Tickets to all home fixtures are now currently on sale here – and are also included in all Season Membership packages.
